Dana Bushman took the long route to yoga having studied other mind-body disciplines like Pilates and Alexander Technique for almost a decade. In 2008 she discovered A.Y.C. and J. Brown's breathe-centric approach and quickly found it to be the complementary piece missing from her path to awareness and wellness. Shortly thereafter, she graduated from the A.Y.C. Teacher Training Program and began teaching as a natural extension of her personal practice. In addition to J. Brown, Dana draws influence from her past and present teachers, Ashley Smith Steele and Jessie Zalla, as well as trainer Laurie Fierstein. Dana is also a certified "Relax and Renew" Restorative yoga trainer and has studied anatomy and kinesiology with Judith Hanson Lasater.
